3. Dr. Jafri has recently returned from a visit to rural India & has expanded the scope of Cosmetic Karma to include the following areas of charity services:
-provide free Facial Plastic & reconstructive surgery to American Veterans of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan
-provide free surgeries to poor & impoverished patients in rural India (cleft lip/palates, burns, tumors, facial trauma)
4. Dr. Jafri will be drafting and presenting proposed guidelines for Physicians of the New York State Medical Society regarding "Ethical Implications of Current Trends in Plastic Surgery"
5. In August Dr. Jafri was an invited lecturer at an International Conference in Marrakech, Morrocco speaking on advanced Cosmetic & Medical applications of Botox
